Falls Paranormal Conference
CTPS attended our first paranormal conference in Wichita Falls this week. We learned some new things and also were able to compare our investigating techniques with some of the other groups that were in attendance. Everyone here at CTPS would like to thank all of the members of TRIPP for making us feel so welcome at our first paranormal conference. There were many great speakers that offered opinions, tips and super information that we at CTPS found very helpful. We got to meet members of MPI – Military Paranormal Investigations, they presented information on EVP’s and their preferred equipment. Cristy Selfridge from OKPRI – Oklahoma Paranormal Research, gave a lecture that shed light on the more spiritual aspect of paranormal investigating. I found this to be a nice change, since I’m not really a technology oriented person. I understand that investigations should be scientific and systematic but we also need to include the emotional and spiritual side of the paranormal realm. We got the chance to see some equipment that we currently don’t use like Frank’s Box which is supposed to allow the investigator to communicate in real time with spirits or whoever is out there (pretty cool). We also saw many photos and listened to many EVP’s from some of the other groups (also very cool). So, all in all we had a great time and look forward to the next paranormal conference and hope that by then we will have some more incredible things to share with our new friends.
